Contractor Evaluations Home Page

Description

This screen is part of the Contractor Evaluation subsystem and provides search functionality that enables users to access existing Contractor Evaluations. PENNDOT users can access evaluations for any business partner. However, contractors and subcontractors can only access their own evaluations. All users may choose to filter the search results by project or by business partner, or to show only Final evaluations. For example, if a contractor enters a project number, only the evaluation(s) for that project are displayed in the results. Users may also choose to show subtotal details; when they do so, the search results show the evaluation scores per section, as well as the overall score. There is no public access to the home page or the evaluations themselves. The Contractor Evaluation home page is accessed from the ECMS navigation bar by selecting the Contractor Evaluations option under Contractor Services. Fields

Field Name	State	Description
Project	Editable - Required	This field allows the user to enter the six-digit numeric project number to limit the search to include only Contractor Evaluations for the specified project.
Business Partner	Editable - Required	This field allows the user to select a business partner name to narrow the search to include only Contractor Evaluations for the specified business partner. This field is only displayed for PENNDOT users. By default, contractors can only access their own Contractor Evaluations.
Only Final PPRs	Editable - Optional	This option allows the user to narrow the search to include only Final Contractor Evaluations. If this box is left unchecked, interim, mid-term, and final evaluations may appear in the search results.
Display Subtotal Details	Editable - Optional	This option allows the user to display section subtotals for the report in the search results.

Actions

Action	Description
? (icon)	When the user clicks this icon, they are taken to the screen’s “Tell Me About” Help document, which provides a brief screen description, a definition of each field, and a definition of each ‘action’ (link, button, icon).
Up/Down Arrows (icon)	When the user clicks the up arrow at the top left corner of the display, they are taken to the top of the screen view. When the user clicks the down arrow at the top left corner of the display, they are taken to the bottom of the screen view. TIP: The function buttons such as BACK, EDIT, and SAVE are always located at the extreme bottom of the screen. Use the down arrow to quickly move to the buttons you need.
Business Partner (selection arrow)	When the user clicks this selection arrow, the standard ECMS Business Partner selection window opens. This pop-up screen allows the user to select a business partner from a filtered list of all business partners having current contracts in ECMS. On the selection window, the user chooses the business partner by clicking the X in front of the business partner name then clicking the OK button. This icon is only displayed for PENNDOT users. By default, contractors can only view their own contractor evaluations.
Click the SEARCH button	When the user clicks this button, the system performs a search based on the search criteria the user entered.
Click the CLEAR button	When the user clicks this button, the search criteria selected or provided is cleared from the search screen.
