Part A: Engineering Information
Proposed Design Criteria has been completed (Bridge Project).

Part B: Section A-2
Check mark has been added for "Other" under documentation to indicate that an asbestos inspection was completed. Under Permanent and Temporary Impacts - the verbiage pertaining to the underground storage tanks located at 1316 - 1318 has been removed since it has been confirmed by PennDOT that the underground storage tanks were removed during a previous PennDOT project. Verbiage pertaining to the residential apartment building and the need for asbestos sampling has been removed due to the building burning down in 2022. Verbiage has been added to indicate that an asbestos test was completed for the project and that asbestos containing material was present on the gas line pipe wrap within the culvert. Describe remediation/mitigation - This section has been updated to account for the removal of the underground storage tanks located at 1316-1318 Pennsylvania Avenue and that special provisions have been prepared because it is unknown if confirmatory soil sampling occurred once the tanks were removed and there is a potential for contaminated soil and/or groundwater to exist at this location. Verbiage has been added indicating that an asbestos inspection was completed during Final Design in August 2024 on the culvert and associated utility lines to be replaced since it was constructed prior to 1986. Additional language regarding special provisions relating to the handling/disposal of asbestos containing materials were developed in Final Design has also been included. All verbiage regarding Phase II/III sampling has been removed as well as all verbiage pertaining to the asbestos sampling for the residential apartment building located at 1316 - 1318 Pennsylvania Avenue. Remarks Section - this section has been updated to indicate that the underground storage tanks at 1316 - 1318 Pennsylvania Avenue have been removed during a previous PennDOT project but there is still a potential for contaminated soil and/or groundwater to exist at this location.

Part B: Section A-3
PNDI ran 1/29/24; Conservation measure and Avoidance Measure was added. PNDI is attached.

Part B: Section A-7
The Right-of-Way Acquisitions/Displacements section was updated. Due to the residential apartment building located at 1316-1318 Pennsylvania Avenue burning down in 2022, there will be no displacements associated with the project now. The description regarding the extent and locations of the acquisitions (temporary construction easement) has been revised as well for parcel 20 due to the residential apartment building burning down in 2022.

Part B: Section E
Other Mitigation Commitments - Resource Specific (Hazardous or Residual Waste Sites). Mitigation Measures have been updated to account for the development of special provisions that have been prepared for the potential to encounter contaminated soil and/or groundwater near 1316-1318 Pennsylvania Avenue where underground storage tanks used to exist. Verbiage has been added that indicates that an asbestos inspection was completed in August 2024 and special provisions relating to the handling/disposal of asbestos containing materials were developed.
