An MPMS must be in Candidate or higher status to be added to a package; meaning it can be located in the System's MPMS list.
Attached is a screen shot from MPMS showing the information required for a user to move the status of an MPMS project from Incomplete to Candidate. Once added, MPMS data is automatically entered into the package.
The following are project statuses in MPMS...
- Incomplete = not all required data has been entered
- Candidate = not attached to a plan/program (can be attached to a TYP/TIP through a management action)
- Programmed = attached to current TYP
- Active = has one approved actual SPN (money is encumbered or being expended)
- Completed = all work has been completed and all SPNs are closed
- Final = all SPNs and FPNs are closed (FPNs have been final-vouchered)
- Hold = project is on hold
- History = project has been rolled over from old PI/PMS system and is closed out
If a PennDOT Connects form was completed for a proposed project, was assigned an MPMS number, and is in a status of "On the LRTP/TIP" or "Recommend to the LRTP/TIP" some information included in the form will feed into the scoping form. The form must be in this status before creation of the scoping document in the CEES.
