Enhancements have been made to allow processing of 100% State Funded projects and projects with Federal Oversight.  Two (2) new fields now appear at the top of the Package Document: ‘Federal Funding’ (Yes/No) & ‘Federal Oversight’ (Yes/No).  The responses recorded in these two fields guide the appropriate review and approval sequence.

The process for purging deleted packages has been rewritten to enable logging.  This will allow the system to record deleted package numbers for informational and troubleshooting purposes.

Administration

The Archive Idle Packages process was archiving packages less than 180 days old.  This has been fixed so that packages in preparation will be archived only after being idle more than 180 days.

The “Apply Changes” button has been removed and replaced with a “Save” button on the Package Document.  The “Update MPMS” function will now be triggered only when the MPMS lead project number is changed or new MPMS numbers are added.  The “Update MPMS” process will now append the MPMS project description text to the Project Description block (A:Gen) instead of overwriting any existing text.

The Archive Approved packages process has been re-evaluated to resolve potential problems associated with transfer of approved documents to archive.

Archiving packages

Packages that were created within the system but never got Generated were being retained with a package number of ‘TBD’.  These “TBD’ packages will no longer be visible to the user and will automatically be deleted weekly.
