Title:

Getting Started

Type:  General Help

Category:  Using the System

The System contains many standard navigational tools such as clickable links, scroll bars, drop-down selections and pop-up windows.  Use of the System assumes you have basic familiarity with how to use these tools in a web-based browser.

On the left side of most screens, is the Navigation pane.  Clicking an item in that pane opens the associated content in either the right side of the screen or a new window.

When you are looking at a view, or listing, of data, you will sometimes see blue triangles (also called "twisties") used for expanding and collapsing various categories.

Expand (arrow pointing right) - appears next to a category that is currently collapsed. Clicking on this arrow will expand the category.

Collapse (arrow pointing down) - appears next to a category that is currently expanded. Clicking on this arrow will collapse the category.

To open a document, click on its link from any view/listing in the System.
